If you live near Los Angeles, and are interested in taking drum lessons,
send me an email. Learning should be both fun and serious, and I focus my teachings upon the whole drum set: Technique, sticking & coordination patterns, playing with confidence, creating grooves for songs, developing great time (and playing with click tracks, loops, & sequences), drum set chart reading and interpretation, snare drum reading, the importance of learning different styles of music, developing great work attitudes, and much more. I treat each student uniquely, depending on where they are coming from, and where they want to go.

My day gig was sending me to LA for a couple of months. I hadn't played drums for some time and just started practicing while in Seattle. Before I left for LA I decided to get some lessons while out there. I searched the net and came up with Jon's name. I hooked up with him and took some lessons. Very interesting and fulfilling ones. Jon lead me along a path I had never really explored. He opened my eyes and ears. I can not thank him enough. It's funny how life directs us to the right place and people to help in our growth.
