   Jon Mattox is an American multi-instrumentalist, composer, songwriter, and record producer from Southern California. He has been a session musician playing drums for a large variety of artists and bands including recordings or performances with Rob Halford, Joan Osborne, Roy Z, Sepultura, Nels Cline, Mike Watt, Young MC, Freebo, Lee Sklar, Geza X, Doug Pettibone, John Fumo, Shelby Lynne, Days Between Stations, and many others.

Jon was the drummer and a member of the L.A. Irish rock group The Young Dubliners from 1993-1999 and recorded and toured extensively with the group.

Jon Mattox is also the owner of a high end recording facility, Bright Orange Studios.

As a composer and sound designer, he has licensed his music and sounds for many major movie promotional campaigns including movie trailers, television promos, radio ads, Internet promotions, and DVDs. He scored and did sound design for the international movie trailers promoting the acclaimed foreign film "PVC-1". He also composed music and created sound design for an audio drama book "Feedback" written by Stan Lee.
